Horses & Kids

An in-hand ground work horse training program using
old horses, deemed useless for any other purpose.  These old horses know the ropes and are able to impart kindness, patience and loyalty as these horse have great hearts.  Once the kids have worked with these older horses and have learned true horsemanship skills they will advance to young Arabian foals!

The kids will then be able to teach the foals how to be good citizens.  The foals will learn how to respect authority, while the kids develop leadership skills and trust.  These lessons will stick for life.

Horses & Kids is for all people, from preteens to adults, that want to learn about horses and horsemanship skills.  Those that go through the entire program will leave as true equestrians.  Horses & Kids intends to focus on bringing inner city and at risk kids out to the farm.
